Stephen Ste. Marie
Steve has been directly responsible for aggressively growing consumer- driven businesses for thirty years. He has held CEO/general management and executive level marketing, sales and content roles in technology, media and consumer products companies.
Previously he served as president of Intertainer, the early leader in the Internet protocol and digital cable-based video on-demand space. Steve also served as CEO of CareerPath, the foremost career management site, which he successfully grew and then merged and integrated with CareerBuilder in 2000
As one of DirecTV's initial senior executives, he designed and implemented the sales and distribution, marketing and product strategies. He later held general management responsibility for commercial business and advertising sales while maintaining oversight for all pricing, marketing and advertising initiatives. During this six-year period, DirecTV’s annualized revenues grew from pre-revenue to $2 billion and five million subscribers. While an executive with DirecTV Steve served on the Board of Directors of TiVo.
Prior to DirecTV, Steve served in senior marketing and management positions at American Television and Communications (now Time Warner Cable) and at Pepsi Cola, where he was the national brand director for Diet Pepsi.
Steve is an alumnus of Georgia Tech (BS, Industrial Management) and received an MBA at Pace University.
